Warden Construction has been undertaking reactive maintenance works as part of an eight-year measured term contract with Lancashire County Council.

The works are carried out, mostly in live environments across Lancashire County Council’s built environment assets including schools, sports and leisure facilities, libraries, museums, social care facilities, and civic and corporate buildings.

The contract includes works during normal service hours, as well as an out of hours emergency service for evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Reactive maintenance includes door repairs, remedying trip hazards, blocked drains, blown tiles, decoration, vandalism repairs, fence repairs and roller shutter repairs.

Planned maintenance consists of room conversions, flooring replacement, decoration, roof repairs, tarmac repairs, new fencing, window replacements, provision of locking mechanics to all windows in a building, and the replacement of classroom doors with fire rated ones.

Warden has received excellent feedback for its responsiveness and knowledge and understanding of working within the council’s live environments.

Lancashire County Council implement performance measurements through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based on quality, price, client satisfaction and time. Warden has a 100% record in achieving these KPIs since the framework commenced.
