GAP Distribution warehouse and offices

The 4,035 sqm facility, delivered to BREEAM ‘Very Good’ standard, includes warehouse storage space and distribution facilities for the company’s products as well as office and administration facilities and product showrooms which are used during client visits and demonstrations.

The project also included the enabling works for a drive through coffee shop, extensive drainage works, several new car parking facilities and all the associated road infrastructure on site. The warehouse / office facility has traditional foundations and concrete slab, steel frame and concrete retaining walls, dock levellers, and super-fast doors are included on each of the loading bays.

The facility was completed on programme in just 22 weeks, despite the unseasonal heavy rain which was experienced throughout the construction period.

The project was also completed on budget, and with minimal disruption on this large, complex, industrial and commercial campus.
