AFC Fylde new stadium

Warden was involved with the project from concept to completion, working closely with the client and architect. The first phase of the project consisted of two stands, including the main stand, which is fitted out to exceptionally high standards with hospitality including restaurants, bars and function rooms.

The main stand also accommodates office and administration, changing rooms, physiotherapy and gym suites. The project also involved all infrastructure, including access roads, carparks, drainage, landscaping and new incoming services to accommodate a new Aldi food store, petrol filling station and drive through food and beverage retail units.

The 48-week contract was successfully completed to a high-end quality requirement with bespoke finishes throughout the main stand and hospitality suites. The project was completed both on schedule and within budget, ready for the start of the new football season as per the client’s request.

Multiple stakeholders, including local residents and fans, were kept up to date on the project through newsletters, meetings, a project blog and local school presentations.
