The opportunity

We are seeking a talented and driven Document Controller to join our successful team, based at one of our North West office locations (Birchwood Warrington or Kirkham Preston).

Working within a busy office environment the role shall suit an experienced administrator / document controller with drive and enthusiasm to manage various tasks and support the wider operational team in delivering projects. Key skills should include excellent communication and interpersonal qualities along with essential ICT skills.

Your responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining project documentation across the business and supporting the busy operations team on live contracts, maintaining compliance with company standards. These tasks will include:

  • Site & Operational support, first point of contact for site teams to support any administrative, IT and communications requests
  • New project start-up procedures, document control, electronic filing, hard information collation, SharePoint / EDMS control
  • Coordination of project O&M manuals, log books, asset registers and accreditations etc.
  • Support Health, Safety and Environmental document control
  • Support ISO documentation, compliance and controls
  • Supporting Contracts Team administrative functions
  • Managing Supply Chain documentation and accreditations
  • Coordination and management of project specific vetting and security screening
  • Archiving of project documentation allowing for efficient future access.
  • Managing client feedback process and procedure
  • General administrative functions around a busy contract office.

 

Ideal Candidate

  • Excels in working as part of a team and under own supervision.
  • Strong time management/ prioritisation skills.
  • Organised, self-motivate and the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Works well under pressure
  • Competence in Microsoft (essential) and EDMS (preferred).
  • Educated to Degree Level in English, or Business related field, not essential.
  • Experience with document control or operations administration preferred
  • Ability to maintain high quality & attention to detail.
